Luca Forcucci

(Switzerland)

Luca Forcucci is a composer, performer and sound artist. His works include sound installations, movie soundtracks, music compositions and performances.

His work has been produced by Al Comet, of the Swiss electronic music pioneers, The Young Gods. He also has a record on the Universal music label. Having toured extensively in Europe, he has worked with poet Whitman McGowan, cellist Michael Kott, Dr. Eric Lyon, Dr. Silie O'Modhrain, Professor Johannes Birringer and Professor Michael Alcorn.

His latest project, 2 Humans & The Cosmos, explores the interaction between live musicians and electronic music. He has been touring with this show since 2003 in the USA and Switzerland, playing in concert venues as well as on television and radio programs.

Luca graduated with a Masters in Sonic Arts from the Queens University of Belfast. There he worked on electro acoustic works, field recordings and sound installations, with a particular interest in for movement, sensors and space as an element of composition.
