WORK, VOLUNTEER, INTERNSHIP & LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

Intern to Dance & Theater Curator, Curtis R. Priem Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center, Troy, NY, Winter ’13
Seven week internship shadowing dance and theater curator at Collaborator & performer for Belgian company CREW;
movement assistant on video shoot for ChameckiLerner; production assistant for video installation by Allison Berkoy.
Attended weekly curatorial, project management, PR and technical meetings.
Intern to Executive & co-Artistic Director, Troika Ranch, Portland, OR, Winter ’12
Seven week internship working closely with Dawn Stoppiello while she created a piece for Reed Arts Week. Documented
rehearsals, created marketing images and outreach and helped with costuming and sound using the program Isadora.
Edited and provided feedback during the creation of the statement about the piece.
Intern, Movement Research, New York, NY Winter ’10/’11
Seven week internship in the office of a non-profit dance organization, working with marketing, operations and relations
staff. Updated marketing archives, planned and implemented the distribution of the annual Performance Journal.
Small Primate Caregiver, Suncoast Primate Sanctuary, Tarpon Springs, FL, Fall ’06- Summer ’10
Weekly shifts during which I was responsible for cleaning, feeding and interacting with approximately 20 small primates
as well as interacting with visiting public.
