Hayriye is a Professor at Sakarya University (Turkey), with a PHD/ Art Qualification in Painting Department from Hacettepe University. As well as painting she is recently practising on mixed media, interactive performance art and art theories . She is interested in interdisciplinary research on between contemporary art philosophy and its application in Performance (or methods of potential performance) of socially engaged practices at the same process. She is also interested in the concept of paradox (unlikely combination of contrasts at the same time in art and life).
