Doros Polydorou

(Cyprus/London)

Doros was born in London, but moved to Cyprus at the age of 3. He did an BSc in Multimedia Design and Technology, following with an MSc in Computer Animation, both at the University of Kent. He worked mainly with Maya and he is a skilled character animator. He is now doing his PhD in Performance Technologies at Brunel University, London.

His interests include research on how animation can be creatively merged with live stage performance. In the Suna no onna project,he was experimenting on animating cloth and particles derived from motion captured data.
