Jonathan Hamilton

(Nottingham)

Jon has worked in the creative industries in London for 16 years working in Advertising ,Design ,Multimedia ,Motion Graphics, Film, and Music Video. In the 90s he was a leading Illustrator at the forefront of 3D Montage and Photography at Europe's premier montage agency Debut Art.

Jon taught at Central Saint Martins Foundation for 8 years where he set up and ran the Multimedia pathway. He was head of Motion Graphics at Camberwell College of Arts ,Ba Graphic Design and was a visiting lecturer for 8 years at The Royal College of Art ,Textile Design department.                                 

Jon is currently Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University Ba Graphic Design.
Research focuses on projects that incorporate the relationship between visuals music and dance from music video direction ,interactive spaces ,large scale projection through to VJ-ing.
