Olugbenga Taiwo

Dancer and Multimedia Choreographer

 

Olugbenga Olusola Elijah Taiwo is a British-born dancer and choreographer who has experimented with multiple media and a comprehensive transcultural philosophy of ryhthm based movement ("the return beat") and cognitive metabolisms. He recently completed his PhD (Interfacing with my Interface, University of Winchester, 2006), and now teaches dance science at Winchester. He has composed, and performed in, numerous multimedia dance installations and interactive performances, and is currently developing a new work.
